Stefano de Nisi

Stefano De Nisi - Senior Partner - Conveyancing

Stefano began his career with Bridgeman Morris a well-respected firm in the Bedfordshire area with several offices. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1978 joining Ray Nixon Brown (formerly E T Ray & Co) in 1991. He became an Equity Partner in 1995 and subsequently Joint Senior Partner in 1999. He deals with all aspects of Conveyancing, both Domestic and Commercial, Landlord and Tenant as well as Leasehold and Residential matters. 

Simon Peacock

Simon Peacock - Senior Partner - Family & Civil Litigation

Simon qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 achieving partnership status in 1989. He joined Ray Nixon Brown (E T Ray) in 1992 becoming a partner in 1993 and Joint Senior Partner in 1999. He handles all areas of Family and Civil Litigation both Commercial & Private. He is a member of the Law Society Family Panel.

Anthony C. Raumann

Anthony C. Raumann - Partner - Solicitor

Anthony qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and worked in London before joining Ray Nixon Brown in August 2005. He specialises in the field of matrimonial proceedings, divorce and financial matters, and private Children Act proceedings. Anthony undertakes private client work and also legally funded matters through the Community Legal Service. Prior to qualifying, he previously worked for the Legal Services Commission for 8 years. He is a member of Resolution.

John Brown

John Brown - Consultant - Conveyancing

John was the Senior Partner at this office until his retirement from that position in 1999 to concentrate on private client work. He has a Law Degree from Cambridge University and joined the firm as an articled clerk in 1968. He handles all aspects of Residential and Commercial, Freehold, Leasehold property work, Sales and Purchases of Business, Probate, Preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.

Michael Birdseye

Michael Birdseye - Probate Manager

Michael joined the firm in 1964 after leaving Bletchley Grammar School. Since 1968 he has been an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives and a registered Trust & Estate Practitioner since 1996. He specialises in all aspects of preparing Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, Probate and Trust matters as well as Court of Protection work and advising the elderly including the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Jim Grundy

James Grundy - Litigation Manager

James spent his first 5 years in the legal profession with Payne, Hicks-Beach & Co. a leading firm of Solicitors in Lincoln's Inn Fields, London before moving to a more Senior position with Reed & Reed Solicitors in the City where he spent 15 years. In 1981 he moved into Commerce, heading the Legal Department of a group of companies in the contracting industry. He returned to private practice with E T Ray & Co (Ray Nixon Brown) in early 1987. His experience covers most aspects of High Court and County Court matters with particular expertise in Insolvency and Debt Recovery, Liquor Licensing matters, Building Contract disputes and Personal Injury claims and Agency matters.

Deborah Carvey

Deborah Carvey - Solicitor

Deborah qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and joined Ray Nixon Brown in October of 2007. Prior to qualification she gained several years of experience in property law from her work at a firm acting for mortgage lenders. She deals primarily with residential conveyancing matters, including re-mortgages, but also handles some wills and probate matters.
